 Dialogue & Sound Script 

Scene 1: 

- Sydney: Girl, lemme tell you about this boy I talk to now 

- Sarah: Another one??? What's his name? 

- Sydney: Don't do that. But his name is Chris. He's so cute. He's tall. He plays basketball so you know I'm getting some of that NBA money. The only thing is I think he got a girl 

-Sarah: WAIT! Let me add Julie and St. Flore to the call cause no way you just said that 

- Sydney: Here you go about to do the most! Add them! 
 

Scene 2: 

Sarah: Julie, what you doing? We need to have a group call right now! 

Julie: I mean I was about to take my nap but come on and add me. I just know it's Sydney having boy drama ONCE AGAIN! 

Sarah: The fact that you know your friend so well 

Julie: I'm here! Sydney... what did you do?? 

Sydney: The fact that you didn't even give it a second thought... I need new friends. 

Sarah: St-Flore.. stop eating! We having an emergency group call 

St. Flore: Who told you I was eating???? Just add me to the call. 

St. Flore: Sydney! What did you do??? 
 

Scene 3: 

Sarah: Okay. Everybody is here now. Run back everything you said to me to them 

Sydney: I didn't even say nothing to deserve this group call but okay... 

Sydney: All I said was I talk to somebody new and his name is Chris 

Julie: Nope! We know you. What's wrong with him? Is he toxic? Does he have a babymomma? 

St. Flore: We all know the last one had 2 babymommas so what's tea? 

Sarah: I don't even know what you be tryna lie for! 

Sydney: Okay!!! Y'all doing too much! His name is Chris and he plays basketball for Hollywood Arts. He's going to the NBA soon and y'all know them offers be HITTING! 

Sarah: You missing a BIG part! 

Sydney: Okayyyyyy! He also has a girlfriend who I think has been watching me from social media to social media. I think she's even started texting my phone 

Sarah: You didn't even tell me all of that! 
 

Scene 4 

Sydney: I'm sending the messages to the groupchat now 

Sarah: If you don't leave Chris alone now! 

Julie: Oh wow. She's bonkers 

St. Flore: Watch her say she still gonna be with him too! 

Sydney: Okay and? She's not scaring me. What she gonna do? She can't make me stop talking to him. I actually like this one 

Julie: Oh so Chris worth all that? 

St. Flore: This is gonna end up bad once again 

Sarah: Don't even tell this girl anything. You know she still gonna go through with it 

Sydney: You know what, bye! Let's all just meet up at mall 
 

Scene 5: 

Julie: I have a feeling that this isn't like all the other times 

Sarah: Exactly! If she went this far, what's gonna stop her from going farther? 

St. Flore: Hopefully, she knows what she doing 

St. Flore: Losing your life over a boy isn't the move 

 

Scene 6: 

- No dialogue  

 

Scene 7: 

- No dialogue 

 
Scene 8: 

Sarah: How she told everyone to come to the mall and isn't even here? 

Julie: Let me look up her location 

St. Flore: Y'all know she loves to flake on us for her boyfriends. She's probably with Chris right now 

Julie: Nah. Something is different this time 

Sarah: Her location doesn't say anything for me. What about you? 

Julie: I'm getting nothing either. St. Flore, just check. You never know! 

St. Flore: It says location not found for me 

Julie: Alright. Let's start calling and texting her 

 

Scene 9: 

Sydney: *muffled scream* 
 

Scene 10: 

- No dialogue 

- Phone is ringing and dinging from phone calls and texts inside the car 


Shooting Script 

 

Scene 1: 

Lightings: Bright lighting from either bedroom lights or natural lighting 

Diegetic Sound: Voices of characters, phone ringing 

Sydney and Sarah are sitting on their beds in their homes speaking on the phone 

Both are scrolling through their phones while speaking 

 
 

Scene 2: 

Lightings: Bright lighting from either bedroom lights or natural lighting 

Diegetic Sound: Voices of characters 

Sydney, Sarah, Julie and St. Flore are all sitting on their beds having a conversation on the phone 

All are scrolling through their phones while speaking 

 
 

Scene 3: 

Lightings: Bright lighting from either bedroom lights or natural lighting 

Diegetic Sound: Voices of characters 

Sydney, Sarah, Julie and St. Flore are all sitting on their beds having a conversation on the phone

Sarah, Julie and St. Flore now are standing up speaking on the phone while looking for their outfits for the mall 

 
 

Scene 6: 

Lightings: Bright lighting from either bedroom lights or natural lighting

Non-Diegetic Sound: Mood Music provided by Joshua 

Sydney is getting herself ready to go to the mall. She does her hair, gets into her new outfit and sprays some perfume on herself all while looking at the mirror 

 
 

Scene 7: 

Lightings: Bright lighting from either bedroom lights or natural lighting 

Diegetic Sound: Voices of characters 

Sydney leaves her room and walks outside holding her bag and keys. She unlocks the door and scrolls through her phone for a while. She doesn't see the figure in her top mirror while she's mindlessly scrolling. She then tries to start the car and abruptly stops in her tracks cause she sees a figure staring at her 

 
 

Scene 8: 

Lightings: Bright lighting from the mall 

Diegetic Sound: Voices of characters 

Non-Diegetic Sound: Background character voices 

Sarah, Julie and St. Flore are sitting down at the food court talking amongst each other. They each start pulling their phones out wondering where Sydney is. Scrolling back and forth on their phones and showing one another their screens 

 
 

Scene 9: 

Lightings: Little to no lighting 

Diegetic Sound: Sydney’s scream 

Non-Diegetic  Sound: 

Sydney is in the dark and lets out a muffled scream 

 
 

Scene 10: 

Lightings: Little to no lighting 

Diegetic Sound: Sydney's phone going off 

Non-Diegetic  Sound:  

Sydney's phone is ringing and dinging in a car in the dark along with her purse and keys

 Hi. Welcome back to my blog. Today is March 8 and we still have not started filming. Our first filming date was supposed to be March 5 which was a day we had school. My group members also had to work. I knew from that that we wouldn’t have much success in filming together that day. As I stated before, most of the filming will be done at our own houses. This is because the covid-19 cases are still high. We’re trying not to be too close to each other during this process. While brainstorming for ideas for this film we thought of us having a conversation on the phone. This will show us all at our own houses. We will eventually meet up to film the last part of our movie. We just have to know each other’s schedules. Some days we want to record, I might have practice. 1.  How does your product use or challenge conventions AND how does it represent social groups or issues? My product uses conventions by using actual people instead of mannequins to model the clothes. It also uses conventions by having different angles. My product challenges conventions by using both genders in one commercial and I didn't use a green screen for my background. It represents social groups by helping people express themselves through clothing. It also allows videographers to perfect their craft. It represents social issues because there is a lack of representation for people of color in fashion, it promotes gender equality by having an equal amount of both gender models. It also promotes people of color in terms of commercials because most models that are shown are white. 2.
