Production Blog

Hi. Welcome back to my third follow up blog of the filming and editing. Between now and the time I did my last blog, I took the chance to film my part for the first scene. I am most likely going to film my part again before we actually start putting the movie together. I was having some difficulties trying the film myself. One issue I was having was the camera. I think it would be better if someone else was there to record. I was by myself so therefore, I had to leave the camera in one spot. I feel like that part of the scene would look better if I was kind of pacing back and forth. That way, whoever I get to record me can do a tracking shot for this. I also was having a hard time on where to position the camera. Do I want to see full body? Do I want from the waist up? Do i only to be able to see only my phone and my face? Do I want the scene to be shot from the back, looking over my shoulder? There were so many options to choose from. I honestly didn't know what angle I wanted. My room doesn't have all these elevations where I can just prop up the camera. This is another reason I think it would be better to have someone else help me record. I also feel like I should wait until I get my hair done to film my part again. If we so happen to record after spring spring break, I know my hair is going to be different in the end. I think it would be bad if my hair were to change in the middle of the film. Especially since it's in the span of a day. The only way it wouldn't be bad is if in the script I make it known that I am going to get my hair done. That's all I have for you guys today. Thanks for reading! See you next time!
